In this episode of The Dreamer’s Lounge Podcast, I’m sharing my top tips for the most common types of offers. Whatever your business is, this episode will have great information for you. Looking at these most common types of offers, you’ll be able to better understand which ones might work the best for your business.
But before we dive right in, welcome! You’ve now entered into The Dreamer’s Lounge! I’m Ariel Schiffer, and I have made it my mission to take out the digital trash one bad course at a time. I am the creator of The Course Alchemist, Industrial Organizational Psychologist, and Curriculum and course design expert.
This podcast is for entrepreneurs who are looking to elevate their digital product suite so their offers speak for themselves. Nothing is worse than being oversold into something that under delivers just like an overpriced bottle of wine. So, if you’re ready to develop high quality offers, bring in consistent revenue, and have a business with long-term results for you AND your clients, grab your drink and join us inside...
Today we will dive into the most common types of offers and my biggest tips for you. For all the details, be sure to listen to the ENTIRE episode on your favorite streaming platform!
Freebies and tripwires! I see so many lackluster lead magnets that don’t benefit anybody. And it’s super disappointing! When a potential client clicks on your freebie, and they’re disappointed by it, you KNOW they’re not going to want to actually buy from you. So put some effort behind these and make them helpful! If I see one more Canva mess of journal prompts that lead to nothing, I’m going to lose my shit. Make sure you actually solve a small problem with these.
A bonus tip I have is don’t just make these types of offers for the sake of making them. How does this freebie lead them into your main offer? Have a clear pathway laid out.
My biggest tip with this type of offer is to focus on service and communication, and always get feedback to improve your processes. This type of service is sacred. They are giving you a huge amount of trust, so make sure you take care of them and create an elevated experience! Cater to the person you are helping through this process. Communication is the most free and valuable thing you can give!
A bonus tip I have is to keep a “back pocket bonus.” This has always gone really well for me! It’s a surprise bonus I don’t typically disclose in my deliverables. But it’s like a cherry on top I do for their courses. I highly recommend finding something like this for your clients. It’s the little details that make the biggest difference.
There are a lot of offers you can create as a business owner or service provider. But it’s important to be intentional with all of them. Know what they’ll do for your business and your clients. Know the transformation that comes with each of them. I hope this episode helps you discover what will work best for you.
